Gladys and Gertrude are now just over a year old and ready for a boar.
We bred these girls and after making the heart breaking decision to sell our breeders last year in order to concentrate on building our house and fixing our aging pig paddocks & arcs.
We selected these girls to be the start of our new foundation herd, they are extremely well handled and well mannered. They both have 14 even teats and have a fantastic confirmation, and are beautifully marked. Sadly though our best laid plans haven’t come to fruition and we are still building our house, and haven’t started to fix the pig paddocks, so with heavy hearts we’ve decided to sell our girls to a home ready to put them to a boar.
We’d love to keep in touch with the new owners and have the possibility of purchasing some breeding gilts from Gladys & Gertrude’s offspring.
We registered both gilts with the BPA last year, so they have their certificates, but we are no longer members, although we have be told that transferring ownership is still possible.
